Our Club

CSCE Rugby Luxembourg welcomes all players from 4 to 18 from different schools and nationalities. The rugby section of the "Cercle Sportif des Communautés Européennes" (CSCE) of Luxembourg was created in 1973 and now has over 200 members with more than 20 nationalities represented. This long history and our diversity contribute to create a unique environment within the CSCE! We are the oldest club in Luxembourg, and we are proud of this legacy.

Our training takes place in Kirchberg (age categories U6 to U14) and Cessange (age categories U16 and U18). The training method at CSCE Rugby Luxembourg aims at being consistent across the different age categories and at developing children’s technical, tactical, physical and social skills. While the core rugby values (integrity, passion, solidarity, discipline and respect) are essential to CSCE Rugby Luxembourg, the club approach is also to train kids in a very relaxed atmosphere so that they have fun and share some unforgettable moments with their friends on a rugby pitch! The biggest reward for a CSCE Rugby coach is to see big smiles on children's faces after a training session or a tournament!

Since its inception the CSCE Rugby school has participated in the Alsace-Lorraine Rugby Schools Championship. CSCE Rugby Luxembourg is one of the most represented clubs during the regular Rugby school seasons in Alsace-Lorraine where more than 10 annual tournaments are organized on Saturday afternoons. The U6 to U12 teams of CSCE Rugby Luxembourg take also part in the Luxleague championship organised by the Fédération Luxembourgeoise de Rugby.  CSCE Rugby Luxembourg became Luxembourg Champion in 2017 and 2019. The U14, U16 and U18 teams participate in the Belgian championship.

For several seasons, the Fédération Luxembourgeoise de Rugby had entrusted our club with the organization and implementation of the national junior team, less than 19/17 years old, for the participation in the FIRA European Under-20 Junior Championship and under-18s and the FIRA-AER Under-17 course qualifying for the European Championship.
